Attach the Adapter to the Device

The Snap&Cam Adapter snaps securely onto the device and is fully compatible with all Doculus Lumus® models. When optical inspection with the eye is required, the Snap&Cam Adapter can be detached swiftly and without tools.

Insert the Camera and Connect to Screen

Insert the Ipevo USB camera and connect it to your device via USB cable. The live view through the lens can now be displayed on various devices such as PC, tablet, TV, web conferencing systems, projectors, and others.

Plug & Play – No additional Software required

Simply connect the Ipevo camera via USB and start using it right away—no installation needed. The live camera feed is instantly available through the browser-based Webapp, the free desktop app for Windows and macOS, or even via the preinstalled Windows Camera app. During web conferences, the camera feed can be selected as a video source, just like screen sharing. This makes it easy to share real-time visuals with others.

8 Megapixel USB Camera

The camera is equipped with a high-quality 8 MP Sony sensor and delivers a resolution of 3264 x 2449 pixels at 30 fps. Autofocus and exposure can be controlled via button or software. A white LED light with 172 lux ensures optimal illumination. An integrated microphone with noise reduction allows use in web conferences.

Combination of Optical and Digital Zoom

The combined use of the optical zoom provided by the Doculus Lumus® glass lens system and the digital zoom of the Ipevo USB camera results in the following effective zoom levels depending on the Doculus Lumus® device (15x or 22x):

  • 15x (optical) * 12x (digital) = 180x1
  • 22x (optical) * 12x (digital) = 264x1
